Clear Channel has launched Hot AC “100.7 The River” on W264BW Norwood/Cincinnati.
The EMF Broadcasting owned translator, fed by 107.1 WKFS-HD2 covers the city of Cincinnati and its Kentucky suburbs but has no signal to the north in order to protect Christian WEEC Springfield, OH.
The translator is running Clear Channel’s “Today’s Mix” Premium Choice Hot AC feed. It would appear the strategy here is to attempt to take listeners from Hubbard Adult CHR “Q102” WKRQ in order to allow Clear Channel’s CHR “Kiss 107” to surpass it in its targeted demos.
Note: The logo depicted is of Clear Channel’s similarly named 100.7 WRVA-FM Raliegh, NC. As of now there is no web presence for the new station.
