Journal Broadcasting is making programming adjustments at Conservative Talk “104.1 The Truth” KQTH Tucson.
On Monday, April 21, the station will jettison its Truth moniker and “Right Talk For Tucson” positioner for “104.1 KQTH: Tucson’s News And Talk” as the station adds a news block in morning drive.
Tucson Weekly reports that the news block will air from 6 to 8:30am and hosted by Program Director Bill White. The station will utilize some resources from sister KGUN-TV 9 for the block.
Current morning host Jon Justice will move from 6-10am to 8:30-12pm to go head-to-head with Rush Limbaugh on Clear Channel’s 790 KNST. The station will add an additional hour of Dave Ramsey in the 12pm hour, while Laura Ingraham’s syndicated offering will slide from 10am-1pm to 6-9pm replacing Roger Hedgcock. Local host James Harris will remain in the 3-6pm slot.
