I wouldn't be surprised if one of the two Top 40s in the market start tweaking its direction to Rhythmic, since I don't see Pittsburgh picking up a pure Urban outlet again.

Thanks for the back-up DC. I hope you are well buddy.
I was let go due to budget cuts. I, IN NO WAY, was involved with Liz or had anything to do with that legal stuff. I just happened to be a casuality of that situation.
I, now, live in Pittsburgh, again, and work for PNC Bank.
Besides, aren't the majority of residents within the city limits of Pittsburgh African-Americans??

I thought that was the case, and that makes this all the more shocking.

I used to think that the flip of WCBS-101.1 New York to "Jack" a few years back was the most boneheaded radio format-flip in history, but this will easily "take the cake"!!

I never in a million years would have thought that Wamo would change their format. This is definitely one of the most if not most shocking radio format flip in Pittsburgh radio history.

The big question everyone wants to know is who will fill the void for R & B and Hip Hop? In one of the WPXI or KDKA articles, the article states that some radio station in PIttsburgh will fill it.

Yes folks, Sheridan has sold the trio to St. Joseph Ministries. Look for them to flip to religious programming this summer.
Hey DC Taylor,
How are you?
Mix Jamz was my favorite Pittsburgh radio station of all time. The station had the best music and the fantastic personalities.

You and Tony Q Foxx were my favorite DJ's on Mix Jamz 100.7. We need another radio station like that back in the Burgh. This brings back way too many good memories:).

The only former Mix Jamz DJ's I seem to hear on the air every now and then is Sean Isreal on Star 100.7 and Dan Simon, I believe weekends on Y 108.

Tank sherman left B 94 due to budget cuts, he did 2-6 am and they moved troy garret from 10pm -2am to the overnite of mid -6 am and the night show went from 6-10-7-midnite. tank then worked at mix jamz 100.7 weekends and then went to a station in south carolina I beleive to do mornings. TAnk was married and I dont beleive he had anything to do with Liz.
thanks for listening,
That's what I thought too. I wonder if there was some kind of contract dispute that is preventing Mark Madden from going on the air at the X?
