The band, I believe, was called "Proximity Trio". His name was "Rocking Chair Weaver" and he played the mandolin. Other members were Bill Smith, Bob Butler (played banjo), and Jack Caudle [sic]. Radio announcer at the time was Easy Jones. Anyone recognize the names or know of any radio recordings during this time period?
