<description>&#60;font color=&#34;darkblue&#34;&#62;&#60;/font&#62;I am enjoying reading all of these wonderful postings about the history of many of the Northeast Ohio area beautiful music radio stations that graced the airwaves during the 1970s.  Formats like theirs most likely will never be offered again for free.  Perhaps someday someone will write a book about these stations that provided an alternative to rock-n-roll for those who just wanted to relax. &#60;img src=&#34;images/smiley_icons/icon_smile.gif&#34; border=0 alt=&#34;Smile&#34;&#62;</description>

Chris worked for many stations including WAKR, WBBG, WGAR, WELW, WMJI, WIXY, WRMR and others. He also was a radio engineer and a very good friend- Rest in Peace my friend. Jim</description>

<description>Some of my style when I announce for the marching band was probably subconciously patterned after Big Jack. I remember listening to him on WKYC/1100 and watching his show on Channel 3 on Saturday nights.&#60;br /&#62;
