   Just when it looked like Shaw was going to become a "White Knight" to CTV/Globemedia stations in Wingham, Windsor, and Brandon, comes word from a piece on Broadcaster Magazine's website (http://www.broadcastermagazine.com/issues/ISArticle.asp?aid=1000332967) reporting that the deal has collapsed.

   Will these stations continue on the air, or will they go "dark"??

   Might Channel Zero be interested??

   I don't know if they can purchase the "A" stations in Wingham and Windsor (since I thought CHCH-11 Hamilton has rebroadcast transmitters across Ontario), but they could certainly enter one of Canada's top markets by buying CHEK-6 Victoria/Vancouver and do there what they're doing at CHCH.
