iHeartMedia has brought a locally tinged version its “Pride Radio” LGBT targeted Dance station to St. Louis.
“Pride Radio St. Louis” will air on 107.7 KSLZ-HD2 and online in partnership with Pride STL. The station will include the national Pride Radio airstaff along with local content. It joins the company’s local Pride Radio affiliates on translators in Austin and Minneapolis and on HD in Orlando.
iHeartMedia St. Louis today announced Pride Radio St. Louis, the pulse of LGBT St. Louis. Pride Radio St. Louis is iHeartMedia’s fourth radio station in the country with programming devoted to local Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) listeners and allies. The new station will kick off commercial free on June 22 at 2pm CT.
Pride Radio St. Louis, a broadcast extension of the popular digital station Pride Radio on iHeartRadio, iHeartMedia’s all-in-one streaming music and digital radio service, will play the hottest dance remixes and pop hits from artists such as DNCE, Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato and others. The station’s on-air programming will include an emphasis on local community news, plus several music and entertainment shows throughout the day with popular on-air personalities: Ricky, from 6 – 10 a.m.; Delana, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.; Houston, from 2 – 6 p.m.; Pacey, from 6 – 10 p.m.; and Christie, from 10 p.m. – 12 a.m. Pride Radio St. Louis will also feature special mixes, exclusive on-air interviews and localized online content.

iHeartMedia St. Louis is the official radio partner of STL Pride and will celebrate with its listeners from June 24 – 26 with live public performances by recording artists Jordin Sparks, Shawn Hook, Karmin, Melanie Martinez and others. In addition, DNCE will participate in the Pride STL parade on the iHeartRadio float on Sunday, June 26.
