Cumulus Media has promoted two programmers in Flint MI.
August Wallace, PD/Midday Host of Urban AC “Z92.7” WDZZ, adds on the role of Operations Manager for the Flint cluster. She has worked WDZZ since 2007 and has served as PD since 2011. Meanwhile Tim Shickles has been appointed Program Director for Country “Nash-FM 95.1” WFBE and “Sports Xtra 1330” WTRX. Shickles currently hosts afternoons at WFBE. He succeeds April Rose as Program Director.
Cumulus Media announces that it has promoted August Wallace as Operations Manager of Cumulus’ group of five radio stations in Flint, MI. The company also announces that it has promoted Tim Shickles as Program Director for Country station NASH FM 95.1/WFBE-FM and Sports Xtra 1330/WTRX-AM. Wallace, a 10-year veteran of programming for Urban AC radio station Z92.7/WDZZ-FM, will retain her duties as Program Director for the station and will continue her on-air shift. Shickles has been an on-air personality for Cumulus Media-Flint for the past seven years and will continue in his on-air role with NASH FM 95.1.
