Cumulus Classic Hits 94.7 WLS-FM Chicago has named Ron Parker as its new afternoon host.
Parker, best known for his long runs at 107.5 KLDE Houston and 101.1 WCBS-FM New York, debuts today in the 3-7pm time slot. At the latter he worked for current WLS-FM PD Brian Thomas. Parker has also worked at 99.7 KFRC San Francisco and most recently has been filling-in at SiriusXM and Cumulus Country “94.7 Nash-FM” WNSH New York.
Cumulus Media announces that it has named veteran radio broadcaster Ron Parker as Afternoon Host for 94.7 WLS-FM in Chicago. Parker debuts today, Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. CST. Previously, Parker was on-air at NASH FM 94.7/WNSH-FM in New York City and was a #1 Host in two different dayparts on WCBS-FM in New York City. He also was on-air for various channels on Sirius XM Radio. In addition, Parker has held on-air and programming posts in markets including: San Francisco, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix and Tallahassee.
