iHeartMedia Country “Q104.1” WTQR Winston-Salem/Greensboro NC has appointed Casey Carter as its new Program Director.
Carter joins WTQR from iHeart’s “96.9 The Kat” WKKT Statesville/Charlotte where she served as APD/Midday host. Carter has also programmed “South 106.1” WSTH Columbus GA and “B100” WOBB Albany GA for iHeart and has also worked at WZZK Birmingham, WNOE New Orleans, and WQIK Jacksonville.
She replaces Todd Nixon, who left as PD of WTQR and sister “B93.9” WNCB Raliegh at the end of 2016 to join Steel City Media’s “Q104” KBEQ Kansas City.

Casey Carter will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee on-air, digital and music programming, as well as, booking artist appearances and interviews for the radio station brand and their local events.
