iHeartMedia has transferred Nevada/Central California SVP/Programming JoJo Turnbeaugh to its Denver region.
Turnbeaugh succeeds Jim Lawson, who was let go during last week’s talent cuts. In his new position Turnbeaugh will oversee all programming at iHeart’s Denver, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Fort Collins stations. This continues as rapid ascension within the programming ranks for Turnbeaugh who was promoted from Program Director of Country “95.5 The Bull” KWNR Las Vegas to SVP/Programming for the Las Vegas market in February 2016 and again to Nevada/Central California region in August 2016.
He previously has served as MD/afternoon host for CHR “95.7 Kiss-FM” KFMD Denver, and PD of 99.9 KVUU and 96.9 KCYY Colorado Springs for iHeart/Clear Channel and morning host of Country 98.5 KYGO Denver, 70s Hits “Star 104.7” WSSS Charlotte, Modern AC “102.1 The Zone” KOZN Kansas City, and CHR “Hot 102.1” WLUM Milwaukee.
Additionally iHeart has appointed Kelly Ransford as Director of Event Marketing for its Denver cluster. Ransford joins the station from the Music Director position at CBS AAA 93.1 WXRT Chicago.
iHeartMedia announced today that JoJo Turnbeaugh has been named Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for Denver, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Denver has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing radio station brands spanning six markets, such as NewsRadio KOA, 103.5 The Fox, Channel 93.3 and KBCO in Denver, as well as Springs Y96.9 and My 99.9 in Colorado Springs and KISS 96.1 in Fort Collins – and broadcasts several legendary on-air talent including Dave Logan, Rick Lewis, Willie B and Bret Saunders.
iHeartMedia has massive consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. Turnbeaugh will work with on-air personalities and program directors from the 26 radio station brands in iHeartMedia’s Denver region to oversee on-air content and music programming.

Turnbeaugh has more than 20 years of experience in radio and most recently worked as the Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Nevada/Central California Region, where he worked closely with program directors, on-air personalities and sales to oversee on-air and digital content and music programming for three radio station brands and their local events. He also served as Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Las Vegas, a Program Director for 95.5 The Bull in Las Vegas, a Sports Talk personality for Front Range Sports Network, a Morning Personality for KYGO-FM and the Program Director and morning personality for Y96.9.
