Midday host Jon Que has been promoted to Music Director at CBS CHR 98.5 KLUC Las Vegas.
Que has worked at KLUC since 2007 and will also serve as APD/MD of Hawaiian/Reggae “Da Shaka” KLUC-HD2. He takes the MD reigns from cluster OM/KLUC PD JB King.
CBS RADIO Las Vegas is excited to announce today that Jon Que has been signed to a new multi-year agreement. In conjunction with the signing, Que has been promoted to Music Director for 98.5 KLUC and Assistant Program Director and Music Director for 98.5 HD-2 Da Shaka, Vegas’ Island and Reggae Station. These new roles are in addition to his weekday, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, on-air shift with 98.5 KLUC.

Jon has been assisting within music department on KLUC for nearly two years and has a great ear for the sound of KLUC,” said JB King, Operations Manager for CBS RADIO Las Vegas. “He truly earned this job with his passion and dedication. Not to mention, he was the backbone for the launch and our early success of 98.5 HD-2 Da Shaka. I am happy that he will continue with a great midday show and finding the best music for 98.5 KLUC.”

Jon Que has been in the Radio industry since 2000. Originally from Hawaii, he moved to Las Vegas in 2007 to join 98.5 KLUC. He is a past recipient of the Best Radio DJ Award in the Las Vegas Weekly’s Annual Best of Las Vegas issue.
