As part of a series of announcements at iHeartMedia Boston, Mikey ‘V’ Vinci has been promoted to Assistant Program Director/Music Director for CHR “Kiss 108” 107.9 WXKS-FM.
Vinci has hosted nights at WXKS-FM since 2013 and will report to Senior Vice President of Programing Dylan Sprague. The company also announced that Shaileen Santoro has been promoted from Marketing Manager to Director of Marketing for the cluster, while Country “101.7 The Bull” WBWL Program Director/Afternoon Host Lance Houston and Rhythmic CHR “Jam’n 94.5” WJMN APD/MD/Night Host DJ Pup Dawg have signed contract extensions with the company.
iHeartMedia Boston announced today new agreements with key programmers Michael “Mikey V” Vinci, Lance Houston and DJ Pup Dawg, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Boston has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises – both broadcast and digital – including KISS 108, JAM’N 94-5, 101.7 The Bull, Talk1430 WKOX-AM and WXKS-AM 1200 – and produces legendary marquee events including iHeartRadio’s Kiss 108 Jingle Ball, Kiss Concert and JAM’N 94-5 Summer Jam.
Mikey V has been named the new Assistant Program Director and Music Director of KISS 108, Boston’s #1 Hit Music Station. He will be responsible for on-air content and music programming as well as record label relations. Mikey V will continue to serve as the station’s nighttime on-air personality.

Houston signed a new long-term agreement to continue his role as Program Director for 101.7 The Bull, Boston’s NEW Hit Country, where he will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee the station brand’s on-air programming, as well as local events and partnerships. He will continue to serve as the station’s nighttime host.

iHeartMedia also signed a new long-term contract with DJ Pup Dawg to continue as Assistant Program Director and Music Director for JAM’N 94-5, Boston’s #1 for Hip-Hop and Hits. He will oversee JAM’N 94-5’s on-air content and music programming, as well as continue as host of the station’s evening show.
