iHeartMedia Country “96.9 The Kat” WKKT Statesville/Charlotte NC has appointed JT Bosch as its new Assistant Program Director/Afternoon Host.
Bosch joins WKKT from sister Country 98.7 WMZQ Washington DC where he was hosting nights. He previously spent three years as PD of Country 98.1 KVET and KASE 101 Austin as well as VP/Programming for the iHeart Austin cluster and overseeing programming for four markets in Central Pennsylvania for the company.
He succeeds Casey Carter, who was promoted to Program Director of “Q104.1” WTQR Winston-Salem/Greensboro in April.
iHeartMedia Country WKKT (96.9 The Kat)/Charlotte has announced that JT Bosch has been named Assistant Program Director and Afternoon Host, effective August 14. Bosch will host weekdays from 2 – 7 p.m.
Bosch will assist in overseeing the station’s on-air and music programming.

Bosch most recently served as Assistant Program Director and Night Host for for WMZQ-FM Washington, D.C. He has also handled both on-air and programming duties with stations in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Texas.
