FCC Report 8/13: Brian Can’t Dodge FCC Any Longer - RadioInsight
After misrepresenting himself to the FCC with multiple pseudonyms for nearly three decades, Brian Dodge entered a Consent Decree with the FCC last fall where he admitted that he was the operator of two AMs, nine translators, and two LPFM's. As part of the deal with the FCC Dodge was allowed to complete the sale of three translators for a combined $225,000 but had to pay a $100,000 civil penalty and surrendered the license of 560 WCKL Catskill NY and the two LPFM's which he was ineligible to own. The rest of his licenses were granted one year renewals on the condition that they were all operating in compliance with the FCC rules within 180 days. That 180 day period ended on April 25 with none of the necessary documentation asked of Dodge filed with the FCC. With Dodge failing to comply to the Consent Decree the FCC has deleted his remaining licenses: 1340 WWNH Madbury/Dover NH, 94.3 W232AJ Greenville NH, 95.9 W240AK Lebanon NH, 99.3 W257AU St. Johnsbury VT, 99.7 W259AB Marlboro VT, 105.5 W288AZ Bernardston MA, and 105.5 W288AN West Brattleboro VT.
