Latino Public Radio is converting its LMA of 1290 WRNI Providence RI from Rhode Island Public Radio to a $400,000 purchase. If the buyer resells the station within two years of the closing date, Rhode Island Public Radio will receive 1/2 of the net above the $400,000 price.
Ten years after selling “Coyote Country 106.3” WKNU Brewton AL, Ellington Radio Inc. is reacquiring the station from Jack Floyd’s WKNU Radio Inc. in exchange for forgiveness of the $843,420 owed by the buyer from their 2007 purchase of the station. WKNU Radio Inc. agreed to acquire the station in January 2007 for approximately $1,386,764.76 to be made in monthly installments of $10,049.02 over 138 months plus 6% interest.
Iglesia Pentecostes El Lirio de Los Valles is assigning its agreement to purchase Living Proof Inc’s 88.5 KWTW Bishop, 91.9 KWTD Ridgecrest, 95.7 K239AZ Lake Isabella CA and 105.9 K290AH Tonopah NV to Ministerio Misionero Amor y Fe for $6,000 on top of the $100,000 purchase price to Living Proof. The new buyer began programming the stations on August 1.
Santa Clarita Organization For Planning The Environment transfers the CP for 88.3 KTCN Acton CA to Stacy Fortner and Mike Forester’s Common Communications for no consideration. KTCN’s CP had been deleted in 2016 and reinstated in July, however the sellers needed to divest it in order to file a license to cover for their 107.9 KQRU-LP Santa Clarita by the August 20 deadline.
