Curtis Media News/Talk 600 WSJS Winston-Salem NC will flip to Sports on Friday, September 1.
The station will create the “WSJS Sports Network” with current “ESPN Triad” trimulcasters 1200 WSML Graham/104.5 W283BT Burlington, 1230 WMFR High Point/104.9 W285EU Jamestown, 1320 WCOG/93.7 W229CH Greensboro as the four stations begin simulcasting.
The new lineup on the stations will feature Fox Sports Radio’s Outkick The Coverage with Clay Travis from 6-9am, Dan Patrick from 9am-12pm, the Raleigh based David Glenn Show from 12-3pm, local host Kyle ‘The Schass’ Schassburger from 3-6pmm and Fox Sports Radio in nights and weekends.
Outgoing morning host J.R. Snider that this will be the first time in WSJS’ 87 year history that the station will not be local in mornings.
Beginning Friday September 1, 2017, the new WSJS SPORTS will be heard across N.C.’s Triad on heritage signals that include 600 am, 1200 am, and other Curtis Media AM and FM frequencies. WSJS SPORTS will be a full-market sports talk outlet in the Greensboro / High-Point / Winston-Salem market.

“Outkick the Coverage with Clay Travis” (FOX Sports Radio, 6am-9am) will start the day followed by “The Dan Patrick Show” (FOX Sports Radio, 9am-12pm), “The David Glenn Show” (Statewide in N.C., 12pm-3pm), and “One-On-One with The Schass” (Local Show/ Triad, 3pm-6pm). Other local highlights include High School Football Games of the Week for both Forsyth and Guilford counties. NASCAR, Appalachian State University Football and N.C. A&T State University Football & Basketball will also return this year.
