iHeartMedia Portland has appointed Michael La Crosse as Program Director for AC “K103” 103.3 KKCW and Classic Hits “106.7 The Eagle” KLTH Portland OR.
La Crosse joins the stations from Los Angeles where he programmed AC 103.5 KOST until the start of this year. He has been serving as an advisor working on special projects since then. La Crosse has also served as PD of Rhythmic Oldies “Hot 92.3” KHHT Los Angeles, Operations Manager of iHeartMedia Spokane, PD of 94.7 WLS-FM Chicago, and Promotions Director, Music Director and Assistant Program Director of Smooth Jazz 95.5 WNUA Chicago in his career.
He fills the opening created by Chris Shebel’s announcement that he would leave at the end of the year to relocate to Palm Springs.
iHeartMedia has announced that Michael La Crosse has been named Program Director for Portland’s KKCW and KLTH. The appointment is effective October 9.
“Michael’s skillset is a natural match for taking the reins of KKCW and KLTH in Portland. La Crosse comes to Portland from Los Angeles, where he most recently was the Program Director at iHeartRadio’s KOST and KHHT. Previously he was Operations Manager at the iHeart cluster in Spokane, including KKZX, KQNT, KISC, KCDA, KIXZ, KZFS. A native Chicagoan, La Crosse programmed WLS-FM and was Assistant Program Director/Music Director at the former Smooth Jazz station WNUA.
