Cumulus Media Country “Nash-FM 93.1” WDRQ Detroit has appointed Jessica Tyler as Assistant Program Director/Music Director and Midday host.
Tyler spent the past four years as APD/Morning Co-Host at SummitMedia Country “Q103.1” WQNU Lousiville. She also spent five years as MD/Morning co-host at 98.1 WCTK Providence RI and worked at WPKX Springfield MA.

Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed Jessica Tyler as for NASH FM 93.1/WDRQ-FM in Detroit. Tyler will also be On-Air Host of the 10am-2pm show weekdays on the station starting December 15th.
Tyler joins Cumulus Media-Detroit from Q103.1/WQNU in Louisville, KY, where she served as Assistant Program Director and Morning Co-Host for the past five years. Prior to that, she held programming positions at WCTK/Providence, RI; WRNX Springfield, MA; and WPLR/New Haven, CT.
Robby Bridges, Director of FM Programming, Cumulus Media-Detroit, said: “I’ve known Jessica a long time and the special bond she creates with listeners on and off the air, the friendships she develops with the artists, songwriters and managers plus the relationships she has with the record community in Nashville, are second to none. That’s because of her deep love and passion for the country music format. I’m really excited for her to join Team NASH here in Detroit and to work with me to continue to grow our brand.”
Tyler said: “I’m excited for the opportunity to come to Detroit and work for a legendary station like WDRQ and continue the great tradition of country music in the Motor City! Thank you so much to Mike McVay, Charlie Cook, Mike Wheeler and Robby Bridges for this opportunity.”
