After agreeing in December to purchase Silent 1510 WMEX Boston from Daly XXL Communications for $125,000, the contract by Ed Perry’s Marshfield Broadcasting Company has been filed with the FCC. Not included in the deal are the current call letters as the license to use them from 105.9 WMEX-LP Rochester NH was non-transferrable. Also the contract states that the current tower site owner Duffy Associates, LLC has filed a lawsuit against Daly XXL Communications, Ed Perry, and former WMEX owner Blackstrap Broadcasting.

Smile FM purchases Silent 100.3 W262AF Parchment/Kalamazoo MI from FCR Broadcasting for $30,000. Smile will use W262AF to rebroadcast their Christian AC “Smile-FM” network off of 88.7 WSIS Riverside.
