iHeartMedia Country “FM 106.1” WMIL-FM Waukesha/Milwaukee WI has promoted afternoon host Quinn to Assistant Program Director and Music Director.
She has hosted afternoons at WMIL-FM remotely for the past few months while continuing in her primary role as morning co-host at sister “99.5 The River” WRVE Albany NY under the name ‘Shanna’. With her promotion at WMIL-FM she will exit WRVE and relocate to Milwaukee. She joined WRVE in April 2013 from Entercom Buffalo where she worked in promotions. Kevin Rose remains in place at WRVE.
iHeartmedia announced today that Quinn has been named Assistant Program Director and Music Director for FM106.1, Milwaukee’s Best Country!, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Milwaukee has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than six stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
iHeartmedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Assistant Program Director and Music Director, Quinn will assist in the day-to-day operations of the station’s music programming and scheduling of music logs. She will remain afternoon drive host, broadcasting weekdays 3 – 7 PM. Quinn reports to Kerry Wolfe, Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Milwaukee.
“I look forward to having Quinn take the reins as my right hand person,” said Wolfe. “She always brings great energy to the team. She also has great ears, impressive social skills and can help keep me in line.”
Quinn most recently served at iHeartMedia Albany’s 99.5 The River as Morning Show Co-Host for The River Morning Show with Kevin & Shanna. She also worked on-air and in promotions for Entercom Buffalo, graduated from Buffalo State College and resides in Bayview, WI.
I’m so excited to take my career to the next level as Music Director and APD with FM106.1,” said Quinn. “The whole iHeartMedia Milwaukee team has been wonderful and very supportive, and I am looking forward to this new position.”
