Entercom Country “100.3 The Bull” KILT-FM Houston has promoted JC to night host.
JC joined the station in late 2017 as a fill-in host from Indianapolis where he previously hosted mornings at Classic Hip-Hop “93.9 The Beat” WRWM. He had been filling in on the night slot since the exit of Corey Dillon last month.
The note from PD Bruce Logan announcing his arrival:
I am pleased to announce the appointment of JC as permanent host of The Bull After Dark!
JC joined us at the end of last year and quickly impressed me with his air-work! He has great on air energy, is amazing at using the phones to engage the audience and he has very good social media skills as well as experience in creating and editing video. Since he has been filling in since February, he has already been through his first BBQ Shack & Rodeo as well as 10 Man Jam back in December. He knows full well what he’s getting himself into.
Prior to joining us, JC did nights and then mornings in Indianapolis. He has more than 10 years of radio experience and I am thrilled to welcome him as a fulltime member of Team Bull!
He’s already on the job!
Please join me in welcoming JC to The Bull After Dark!
Envision Radio Networks’ Jim Brickman Show has announced the addition of Hannah Rae as its new co-host.
As the most recent member of the Jim Brickman Show, new producer and co-host, Hannah Rae brings a youthful perspective to the program. From her view as a millennial raised on technology, she’s a solid addition to the on air team of award-winning songwriter and best-selling solo pianist Jim Brickman and the formidable slacker and gen-Xer, Bob. Hannah Rae will be featured in the four-hour lifestyle program providing music, interviews and laughs every weekend.
“It’s rare to discover an authentic talent who’s never done radio, and yet shines when the mic goes on. Hannah Rae rounds out the B-Team with a refreshing, millennial point of view,” said Brickman.
As well as serving as a co-host, Hannah writes for the show, coordinates in-studio recording, interviews and handles social media.
“Being the female millennial voice on a radio show is super important to me, and being able to engage in discourse over proper Starbucks etiquette on national radio definitely isn’t something most twenty-somethings can say they get to do,” says Hannah.
The Jim Brickman Show offers more
Jim, along with Hannah Rae and Bob, engages listeners every weekend with friendly conversation, expert interviews and advice covering pop culture, food, home, travel, health and technology. Jim’s celebrity interviews have included such notables as John Oates, Bette Midler, Shania Twain, Jane Lynch, Kate Hudson, Train, Dolly Parton and many more.Divided into four content segments each hour, stations can broadcast the show when it best fits their programming needs. The show is delivered via satellite or FTP download. An Adult Contemporary version and a Classic Hits version of the show are available for stations to choose. R Dub!, Creator, Host and Producer of Sunday Night Slow Jams said: “It seems like yesterday, when I approached my PD at that little AM radio station in the desert with the concept for Sunday Night Slow Jams. I was only 17 years old; a junior in high school. He said yes, and the journey began. Not a day goes by that I don’t pinch myself, grateful that my little labor of love can now be heard on 150 radio stations in 14 countries.”
R Dub! added: “We couldn’t have reached this milestone if it weren’t for the awesome efforts of the team, including the folks at Benztown and Slow Jams “Special Ops” Mark Wilson. I especially want to thank our listeners, who’ve made Sunday Night Slow Jams one of the highest-rated programs in the country, and all of the awesome Program Directors who still believe that their stations should be the destination for this exciting, inspiring, and special programming.”
Mark Wilson, Vice President, Affiliate Sales, Sunday Night Slow Jams, said: “Sunday Night Slow Jams wins for our affiliate partners across three different formats with localized, engaging appointment listening content. R Dub! is the type of rare talent that actually becomes a tangible part of each station’s roster. Next stop: 200 stations!”
Now with a weeknight version of Sunday Night Slow Jams and R Dub!’s All-Slow Jams online channel, Slow Jams currently reaches over three million consumers per week and is heard in 14 countries, including the U.S. In addition to Sunday’s three format choices, R Dub! produces a weeknight version of Slow Jams, which airs Monday through Thursday from 10PM-12M.
Along with his work on Sunday Night Slow Jams, R Dub! is Director of Programming for XHTZ and XHRM in San Diego, CA, and is President of Slow Jams 4 Kids clean water initiative.
