iHeartMedia is shuffling duties for three Phoenix and Tucson staffers.
Reid Spivey moves from APD/Afternoon Host of Hot AC “Mix 96.9” KMXP and APD of CHR “104.7 Kiss-FM” KZZP Phoenix to APD/Afternoon Host at Country 102.5 KNIX Phoenix.
Rameen Madani moves from Program Director of Hot AC “My 92.9” KMIY and APD of CHR “93.7 KRQ” KRQQ to take the APD roles and KMXP and KZZP. Meanwhile Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Tucson David Adams will add day to day programming duties for KMIY.
iHeartMedia’s Arizona Region announced today new programming roles for Reid Spivey, Rameen Madani and David Adams, effective May 3. iHeartMedia Arizona has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than 13 stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
Spivey has been named Assistant Program Director and PM drive host for 102.5 KNIX, Today’s Best Country & All Time Favorites, in Phoenix. He previously served as Assistant Program Director for 104.7 KISS FM, The No. 1 Hit Music Station in Phoenix, and MIX 96.9, Today’s Best Music Mix for Phoenix. In his new role, Spivey will work with Lois “Double L” Lewis, Music Director for 102.5 KNIX, and Steve Geofferies, Program Director for the station and Executive Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia’s West Division.
Madani joins iHeartMedia Phoenix as Assistant Program Director for 104.7 KISS FM and MIX 96.9. He previously served as Assistant Program Director for iHeartMedia Tucson’s 93.7 KRQ, Today’s Hit Music with Johnjay & Rich In The Morning, and Program Director for My 92.9, Tucson’s Variety from the 80s, 90s and Today.
As Assistant Program Directors, Spivey and Madani will assist in the day-to-day operations of their station’s music programming and scheduling of music logs as well as be responsible for all the station’s imaging and branding.
Adams has added duties as Program Director for My 92.9, where he will be responsible for the day-to-day programming operations and work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee the station’s on-air content, digital footprint and music programming. He will continue to serve as Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Tucson.

Bonneville Urban AC 102.9 KBLX San Francisco is moving Antoine Davis to mornings to join Tony Sco and Kimmie Tee on “The Morning Dream Team”. Nikki Thomas will move from weekends/fill-in to the afternoon slot, while morning co-host Tony Roberts departs.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Niecey Shaw joins Urban One Urban Oldies “Classix 102.9” W275BK Decatur/Atlanta GA for middays. Shaw has served as a traffic reporter in the market since 2001 and previously worked at Cox Urban AC “Kiss 104.1” WALR.
