Entercom has announced new roles for a pair of its programmers in Los Angeles CA.
Chris Ebbott, who currently serves as Program Director for CHR “97.1 Amp Radio” KAMP and Classic Hits “K-Earth 101” KRTH, will drop those duties at KAMP but become Operations Manager for Radio.com in Los Angeles. Ebbott joined the then-CBS Radio cluster in June 2014 from Bell Media Toronto to program KRTH. He added KAMP programming duties in July 2017.
Senior VP/Programming Kevin Weatherly will retake the PD role for KAMP. Weatherly programmed the station from its launch in 2009 until last July. He will also continue as Program Director of Variety Hits “93.1 Jack-FM” KCBS-FM and Alternative 106.7 KROQ.
Entercom, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the United States, named Kevin Weatherly, as Programming Director of 97.1 AMP Radio (KAMP-FM). Weatherly, Senior Vice President, Entercom Los Angeles, will continue in his role as Program Director for KROQ (KROQ-FM) and 93.1 JACK FM (KCBS-FM).
Chris Ebbott was named as Operations Manager for Radio.com in Los Angeles. This is in addition to his role as Programming Director for K-EARTH 101 (KRTH-FM).
