Nielsen has released its annual reranking of radio market sizes based on population counts to take effect with the fall book.
Amongst the larger market changes, San Diego rises from 17th to 16th jumping ahead of Puerto Rico. Tampa moves past Denver to become #18, while Charlotte and St. Louis swap 23rd and 24th ranked. There will be a pair of markets staking claim to market #25 as San Antonio pulls into a tie with Riverside/San Bernardino. West Palm Beach moves to #47 ahead of Greensboro/Winston Salem.

They also released the changes to the TV DMAs as well.
In the top 10, Atlanta and Boston trade places, with Boston taking the #9 slot, and Atlanta moving down to #10.
Tampa Phoenix and Seattle all shuffled around, with Tampa going from 13 to 11, Phoenix from 11 to 12, and Seattle from 12 to 13.
Nielsen released the changes to the television DMAs 2 months ago; those changes took effect on 9/22.
