iHeartMedia has promoted Meg Stevens to Region Senior Vice President of Programming for the Atlanta Region.
Stevens will oversee programming for all of the company’s stations in Georgia and South Carolina and serve as day-to-day Program Director for Country “94.9 The Bull” WUBL Atlanta where she absorbs those duties from Brian Michel.
Stevens moves to Atlanta from Charlotte where she most recently was Senior Vice President of Programming in the Virginia-Carolina Region and programmed WKKT Charlotte. She has also served as Executive Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Northeast Division and Program Director of 98.7 WMZQ Washington, 93.1 WPOC Baltimore, and 99.5 WGAR Cleveland during her career. Her Charlotte duties were given to AJ earlier today.
iHeartMedia announced today that Meg Stevens has been named Region Senior Vice President of Programming for the Atlanta Region, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Atlanta has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than six stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Region Senior Vice President of Programming, Meg will be responsible for the programming operations across the Region’s stations in Georgia and South Carolina. Meg will also serve as Program Director of WUBL-FM. She will report to Justin Schaflander, Region President of the iHeartMedia Atlanta Region.

Meg Stevens joins the Atlanta Region from WKKT 96.9 The Kat, where she most recently served as the Region Senior Vice President of Programming in the Virginia-Carolina Region. She also served as an Executive Vice President of Programming, an Operations Manager, and Program Director for WMZQ/WPOC and WGAR with iHeartMedia. She began his career at WAQX Syracuse and is a graduate of Syracuse University.
