SummitMedia has appointed Kevin ‘Gravy’ Canup as Operations Manager of its Knoxville cluster and Program Director of CHR “Star 102.1” WWST.
Canup had been at Summit Country “Q103.1” WQNU Louisville as APD/afternoon host since April 2018. He previously spent a decade as PD/morning host at CHR “105.3 Hot-FM” WHTS-FM Grand Rapids MI and has worked in the in Champaign IL and Corpus Cristi TX markets.
With the addition of Gravy, Rich Bailey has exited the cluster after 23 years.
Shay Shay Lewis has exited middays at Beasley Classic Hip-Hop “105.1 The Bounce” WMGC Detroit to take a job outside of radio. Lewis joined WMGC as morning co-host in 2017 and moved to middays last November.
Hubbard Hot AC “101.9 The Mix” WTMX Skokie/Chicago has cut ties with evening host Chris Reese after a little over three years. Prior to joining WTMX, Reese served as morning show producer for Country 99.5 WUSN.
Hubbard is seeking replacements at its careers portal.
Entercom Sports 610 KCSP Kansas City has parted ways with afternoon co-host Brad Fanning. Fanning joined the station in 2017 after working in television in the market. Co-host Carrington Harrison and producer Brandon Kiley remain in the 2-6pm timeslot of “The Drive” while a search for a replacement commences.
Outgoing KIZN Boise afternoon host Rick Daniels is joining Heritage Communications Country “Goober 95.1” WGGC Bowling Green KY for mornings starting April 1.
