Beasley Media has announced a pair of PD changes in Fort Myers FL.
Matt Mangas will move from the PD/morning host role at AC “Sunny 106.3” WJPT Fort Myers to PD/midday host at Rock “96 K-Rock” 96.1 WRXK Bonita Springs. This is Mangas’ third tour at WRXK as he previously worked at the station in the late 1990s and then hosted nights in 2016-2017. He has been at WJPT since December 2017. He fills the opening created by Jeff Zito’s move to “98.7 The Shark” WPBB Holmes Beach/Tampa in March.
Replacing Mangas as WJPT is Chris Randolph. Randolph comes to Fort Myers from Louisville where he has been hosting nights at Classic Hits “WAKY 103.5” 620 WAKY/103.5 WAKY-FM. Outside of brief runs in Indianapolis and Tampa he has spent much of his career in Louisville including runs in mornings at 97.5 WAMZ and “Max 102.3” WXMA.
