Joey Tack is joining Bonneville Country 105.1 KNCI Sacramento a Program Director/midday host.
Tack joins KNCI from SummitMedia Rhythmic CHR “Hot 104.5” WKHT Knoxville TN where he has served as PD/afternoon host since 2015 and had been with the station since 2005 previously hosting nights and serving as Music Director. KNCI has been seeking a PD since Byron Kennedy exited in June 2016 with Group Director of Programming Chad Rufer overseeing the station in the interim.
Hall Communications is seeking a morning co-host for “Cat Country 98.1” WCTK New Bedford MA/Providence RI as Amanda Leonardo is exiting rather than return from maternity leave. Leonardo has spent her entire career at WCTK starting as an intern in 2008 and then morning show producer before rising to co-host in 2010.
Kevin Kennedy is exiting afternoons at Beasley Media Country 102.5 WKLB Boston to be closer to family in Atlanta. Kennedy joined WKLB in March 2015 from mornings at WMOV Norfolk and KVDU New Orleans. He has also worked at multiple CHR’s including KIIS-FM Los Angeles, WIOQ Philadelphia, WSTR Atlanta, and KDWB Minneapolis in his career and has also hosted the syndicated “Nudge at Night”. iHeartMedia Boston has announced the addition of Adam Ralston as Vice President of Marketing. Ralston previously served in the same position for Entercom Boston and Promotions Director of WAAF.
Ralston takes the position held by Shaileen Santoro as she moves up to Vice President of Live Entertainment and Events for the company’s National Programming Group.
iHeartMedia Boston announced today that Adam Ralston has been named Vice President of Marketing, effective May 20. iHeartMedia Boston has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing eight stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
As Vice President of Marketing, Ralston will work closely with the promotions, events, sales and programming teams in developing and executing marketing for the Boston market’s iconic brands and franchises – both broadcast and digital – including WXKS-FM, WJMN-FM, WBWL-FM, WZLX-FM, WKAF-FM, WBZ-AM, WRKO-AM and WXKS-AM. He will be responsible for developing and creating marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, enhance business relationships and will assist with increasing revenue growth for the market. Ralston will report to Dylan Sprague, Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Boston.

Ralston is a Boston radio marketing veteran with more than a decade of experience. A majority of his 17 plus year career has been spent in Boston, overseeing a variety of popular Boston stations including WAAF, WRKO, WKAF and the WEEI Sports Radio Network. Ralston contributed his event experience toward the successes of Boston’s Bourbon and Bacon Fest and WOOFstock. In addition, both professionally and personally, community involvement has always been an integral part of Ralston’s efforts through his ongoing support of philanthropy-focused organizations such as the Jimmy Fund, Greater Boston Food Bank, Disabled American Veterans and many others.
