Access.1 Communications has sold its last two stations.
A.T. Moore’s Coochie Brake Broadcasting acquires 92.1 KSYR Benton/Shreveport LA for $25,000. Moore’s Family Life Educational Foundation operates Christian AC “Miracle 89.1” KFLO-FM Blanchard/Shreveport and simulcasters 90.9 KKML Minden/90.7 K214BE Shreveport.
Scottie Rice’s RCA Broadcasting purchases 92.3 KCUL-FM Marshall/Longview TX for $15,000. Rice currently owns two AMs and translators in the Tyler/Longview market.
Both KCUL-FM and KSYR had been operated by Alpha Media via LMA simulcasting Regional Mexican “La Invasora” 96.7 KOYE Frankston/Tyler TX. Alpha had been unable to purchase the duo when it acquired the remainder of Access.1’s clusters in Tyler/Longview and Shreveport in 2014.
Access.1 previously owned clusters in Atlantic City NJ and 1600 WWRL New York. Led by CEO Chesley Maddox-Dorsey, the company retains syndicators American Urban Radio Networks and SupeRadio Networks.
A December 2015 sale of 1580 WGYM Hammonton NJ to Domestic Church Media is still awaiting closing due to judgment liens of the property and repairs needed to be made.
Guess they did close the door…….
