Dave Cruise is moving across the hall from afternoons at Beasley Media Variety Hits “95.7 Ben-FM” WBEN-FM Philadelphia to co-host mornings at Country 92.5 WXTU.
Cruise will join incumbent host Andie Summers at WXTU where he has served as interim host since this past January following the exit of Frank Lario. Cruise was in his second tour at WBEN-FM as he rejoined the station in 2017 as APD after previously working at the station in multiple roles from 2005-2009. He has also hosted mornings at AC 99.5 WJBR Wilmington DE, afternoons at Country 94.7 WDSD Dover DE, and APD/Afternoon Host at Classic Hits “106.9 The Eagle” WWEG Hagerstown MD.
Beasley Media Group, LLC; a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBGI) announces Dave “Cruise” Madden has been named as the new co-host of The Andie Summers Show on 92.5 WXTU-FM in Philadelphia.
Cruise, who initially joined the show as an interim host on January 2, 2019, most recently worked over the past year as the afternoon drive host/Assistant Program Director (APD) at Beasley sister station WBEN-FM in Philadelphia. Previously, he spent four years as the afternoon drive/APD at WWEG-FM in Hagerstown, Maryland.
“When we needed him to step up and handle interim hosting duties for 925XTU, Dave delivered every day,” said station Program Director, Mark Razz. “We’re glad to have him on as part of The Andie Summers Show. He worked hard and deserves this opportunity!”
