Program Director/afternoon host Chris Malone has departed iHeartMedia Urban AC “The New 97.7” WKAF Brockton/Boston.
Malone joined the then-Entercom owned station upon its launch in January 2017. He has previously programmed 96.9 WBZJ Raleigh and 88.5 WQOX Memphis and served as APD of “Snap 94.1” WSNA Memphis and 97.1 WQMG Greensboro.
Morning traffic reporter Hank Morse has exited Beasley Media Classic Hits 105.7 WROR Boston.
Morse has been part of the Loren & Wally Show since 1999 and has also served as a news anchor/host at Talk 96.9 WTKK and did traffic reports for 17 years at Country 102.5 WKLB during his time with Greater Media and later Beasley Boston. Is a bigger change in mornings at WROR forthcoming?
Hi friends! Yesterday was my last day on the Loren and Wally Show on 105.7 WROR. They have decided to go in a different direction. I want to thank Greater Media and Beasley Media for 20+ great years! I had a terrific run and I am grateful! Looking for a new opportunity! pic.twitter.com/nKaIUWmbhu

Cumulus Alternative 104.5 KFOG San Francisco has revamped its on-air lineup.
Dayna Keyes moves from nights to middays to replace the exiting Alicia Tyler. Tyler joined KFOG in June 2016 as Music Director and midday host after previously serving as Program Director of “94.1 The Zone” WZNE Rochester NY. Keyes has also hosted nights at Hot AC “Alice 97.3” KLLC and worked at multiple stations at Clear Channel San Jose.
Replacing Dayna in nights is Danica Lopez. Lopez had been hosting weekends/fill-in at KFOG since early 2018 after previously hosting middays at “Live 105” KITS prior to its December 2017 relaunch as “Alt 105.3“. She will also serve as Social Media Director at KFOG.
American General Media has promoted Jessica Carroll to Program Director of Rhythmic CHR “95.7 The Beat” KPAT Santa Maria and Variety Hits “104.1 Pirate Radio” KBOX Lompoc CA. Carroll will continue to host middays on KPAT and serve as morning co-host on “Sunny Country 102.5” KSNI.
Former OM/PD Edwin ‘DJ Ewrek’ Ruano exited the cluster earlier this month.
Hot AC “99.7 The Mix” WXAJ Springfield IL midday host Taylor Brown has moved to Neuhoff Media sister Country 104.5 WFMB-FM to co-host mornings alongside John Spalding. Spalding had been handling the shift solo since the exit of Andi Brooks in 2016.
Loren Owens is out, too. End of an era.
This at this point is an unconfirmed rumor.
