Learfield IMG College has announced new broadcast rights agreements for the University of Wisconsin and Florida Atlantic University.
FAU will move its Sports coverage from Good Karma Brands’ “ESPN 106.3” WUUB to Hubbard Broadcasting’s “640 The Hurricane” WMEN. The five year deal includes all football and men’s basketball games as well as weekly coaches shows during their respective seasons. There will also be cross-marketing within the remainder of the Hubbard West Palm Beach cluster.
Wisconsin has announced an extension of its existing rights deal with iHeartMedia in Madison and Milwaukee for an additional five years. In Madison, News/Talk 1310 WIBA and Classic Rock 101.5 WIBA-FM will carry all football and men’s basketball games. 1310 WIBA will carry all men’s hockey games, while Sports “The Big 1070” WTSO will carry women’s basketball, hockey and volleyball. Milwaukee’s “97.3 The Game” WRNW and “Big 920” WOKY will carry all football, men’s basketball and hockey as well as some women’s basketball games.
University of Wisconsin Athletics and its exclusive multimedia rightsholder, Badger Sports Properties, announced today an extension of its broadcast agreement with iHeartMedia’s Madison and Milwaukee markets.
iHeartMedia Madison’s NewsTalk 1310 and WIBA FM 101.5 will continue to serve as the Badgers’ flagship radio stations through the 2023-2024 athletic season. The extended five-year agreement officially kicks off with the 2019 football season, marking the 25th season for iHeartMedia Madison to serve as UW Athletics’ flagship radio partner in Madison. Game coverage on both iHeartMedia’s NewsTalk 1310 and WIBA FM 101.5 in Madison will include all football and men’s basketball broadcasts. In addition, NewsTalk 1310 will continue to carry all men’s hockey games. All women’s basketball, volleyball and hockey game broadcasts will be heard on The Big 1070 AM in Madison.
iHeartMedia’s new home for the Badgers in Milwaukee is 97.3 The Game along with The Big 920. Both stations will simulcast all football and men’s basketball broadcasts as well as men’s hockey and a select number of women’s basketball games. The agreement also includes an extension of the Badger Sports Network agreement with iHeartMedia stations in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Plus fans can tune in to hear the coaches radio shows each week featuring Head Coach Paul Chryst during football season, Head Coach Greg Gard during men’s basketball season and Head Coach Tony Granato during men’s hockey season.

Wisconsin Badger sports programming is carried on more than 70 radio stations across the state. The affiliates and all broadcast aspects are overseen and managed by University of Wisconsin Athletics’ multimedia rightsholder and local Learfield IMG College team, Badger Sports Properties.
The University of Wisconsin Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 23 varsity teams and is a member of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I level, competing primarily in the Big Ten Conference since the 1896-97 season.

Florida Atlantic University Athletics, in collaboration with its multimedia rightsholder, Florida Atlantic Sports Properties, announced today a significant broadcast relationship with Hubbard Radio to provide deeper engagement with fans among seven radio stations, as well as increased coverage within the greater Fort Lauderdale and Miami listening areas.
Concurrent with the 2019-20 football season, “640 The Hurricane Sports Radio” (WMEN-AM) will be the Owls’ dedicated flagship station. In addition to airing all football and men’s basketball games, WMEN will carry a one-hour show with Head Football Coach Lane Kiffin and Head Men’s Basketball Coach Dusty May each week during the respective seasons. The five-year broadcast agreement also calls for 640 The Hurricane Sports Radio to air FAU Update twice weekly during the AM and PM drive.
