Forever Media has made staffing changes at its recently acquired Country 103.7 WXCY Havre de Grace MD.
Brad Austin has exited after six years as OM/PD/afternoon host. Austin also served as Director of Programming for Delmarva Broadcasting until Forever purchased the company earlier this year. Prior to joining WXCY in 2013 Austin programmed WTNR Grand Rapids, WWQM Madison, and WGTY York.
With Austin’s exit, Tyler Daniel has moved from mornings to afternoons while co-hosts Paula Ryan and Blair Thomas remain in the morning slot.
Just one year after joining iHeartMedia Alternative “Alt 98.7” KYSR Los Angeles for middays, Tamo Sein has exited the station. Sein joined KYSR in July 2018 after working for the company at “106.5 The End” WEND Charlotte and “XL 102.1” WRXL Richmond. She also voicetracked middays at KLLT St. Louis and KDXA Des Moines.
Weekender Hudson Hott has moved into the midday slot. Hott is best known for her two decade run in mornings at Alternative “Star 101.9” KUCD Honolulu.
Entercom Classic Hits “102.7 The Beach” WMXJ Miami has promoted Music Director/afternoon host DJ Holiday to Assistant Program Director.
Holiday has been with WMXJ since 2013 and added Music Director duties when it relaunched in 206 after previously working in the market for Beasley Media Rhythmic CHR “Power 96” WPOW-FM.
Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., today announced the promotion of seasoned on-air personality DJ Holiday to the role of Assistant Program Director for 102.7 The Beach (WMXJ-FM), South Florida’s only classic hits station. The company also announced a new multiyear contract extension with DJ Holiday.

DJ Holiday will continue in his current roles as Music Director and afternoon drive host for 102.7 The Beach, positions he has held since the station’s inception in 2016. Prior to that, he was afternoon drive host for the station’s predecessor Magic 102.7. DJ Holiday also held on-air roles for now sister station Power 96 (WPOW-FM).
Former Cumulus Chicago Market Manager Peter Bowen has joined Townsquare Media as Director of Sales for its Cedar Rapids IA cluster.
Bowen most recently served as Director of Sports Sales for Entercom Chicago and has previously served as GSM of News 780 WBBM, and Director of Sales for CBS Radio Chicago and Los Angeles. He was General Manager of CHR “B96” WBBM-FM from 2006-2012 and led the Cumulus Chicago cluster from 2015-2017.
Townsquare Media Inc. announced today that Peter Bowen has joined Townsquare as Director of Sales for its Cedar Rapids / Iowa City, IA local media cluster. Mr. Bowen will lead the local sales team in Cedar Rapids / Iowa City, which includes market leader KHAK-FM 98.1, KRNA-FM 94.1, KDAT- FM 104.5, and i107.1 KRQN. He will report to Townsquare Media Cedar Rapids Market President / Chief Revenue Officer Terry Peters.

TEGNA Variety Hits “100.7 San Diego” KFMB-FM San Diego has announced the addition of Dave Mason for weekends and fill-ins.
Mason most recently hosted middays at Entercom Classic Hits “98.1 Sunny-FM” KXSN and has also worked in the market in various programming and on-air roles at 105.7 XEPRS-FM, 94.1 KJQY, 99.3 XHOCL and 600 KOGO as part of a career dating back to the 1960s.
100.7 San Diego announced today that Dave Mason is joining the weekend on-air team. In addition to doing weekends, he will also help fill-in elsewhere as needed.
Mason has been in radio since his junior year of High School in Rochester, NY. His radio travels have taken him to radio stations in Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Nashville and, for the past 20 years, San Diego.
Director of FM programming, Mike V. Vasquez, said, “Our team is made up of radio fanatics, which makes Dave an ideal fit! His level of experience and passion will be a tremendous addition to our team and we’re eager to get him on-the-air.”

Cox Media Group has promoted JC Campese to Director of Sales for its Orlando cluster. Campese has been with Cox since 2000 and has served as General Sales Manager since 2012.
Cox Media Group (CMG) Orlando proudly promotes JC Campese to director of sales for CMG Orlando Radio, effective immediately. In his new role, Campese will lead and oversee sales operations for Orlando’s radio brands, including WCFB-FM, WWKA-FM, WPYO-FM, WDBO-AM/WDBO-FM and WMMO-FM, and the market’s digital media platform, Local Solutions.
