Cumulus Media is shaking up its Country stations in Boise ID.
The company has parted ways with Hank Aaron, who served as PD of Country “Kissin’ 92.3” KIZN and Classic Country 97.9 KQFC since 2013. Aaron also hosted afternoons at KQFC, which quietly dropped its “Nash Icon” branding over the summer.
The company has also cut ties with KIZN’s “Idaho’s Morning Show” hosted by Cory Mikhals and Shawnda McNeal. Mikhals had been with the cluster since 2002, first hosting mornings at KQFC before moving to KIZN in 2012. McNeal joined KIZN in September 2017 after runs in mornings at WNOU Indianapolis, WSTO Evansville, KHMX Houston and KDGE Dallas.
Alana Lynn, who joined KIZN in April as midday host, is currently the only local staffer remaining.
Cumulus is seeking a new Program Director for KIZN, who will also serve as morning co-host.
