Radio One R&B 100.3 WRNB Media/Philadelphia PA has dropped the Quincy Harris Morning Show just shy of two years with the station.
The show debuted in January 2018 replacing Tom Joyner at WRNB. Co-host K Foxx, who began hosting middays this past summer in addition to her spot on the morning show, remains with the station.
Harris, formerly known as ‘Q-Deezy’, previously hosted nights at iHeartMedia Urban “Power 99” 98.9 WUSL and afternoons at Radio One’s “Hot 107.9” WPHI in the market. He also was part of the syndicated Big Boy’s Neighborhood and hosts daytime talk show “The Q” at Fox’s WTXF Philadelphia.
WRNB held a 2.1 share in the October Nielsen Audio ratings placing it well behind iHeartMedia’s 105.3 WDAS-FM’s 6.4 share. Some of the damage to WRNB has been self-inflicted as sister R&B Oldies “Classix 107.9” WPPZ, which launched in December 2018, has held around a 3 share including a 2.8 last month.
The station is currently running jockless in mornings.
