Nexstar Media Group News/Talk 720 WGN Chicago will debut a new schedule on Monday, December 2.
As first reported by Robert Feder, Steve Cochran’s morning show will move up an hour to run from 5-9am, while John Williams will move from 1-3pm to 9am-12pm. The Wintrust Business Lunch remains in the 12pm hour, but Steve Bertrand will be replaced by Ji Suk Yi. After four years co-hosting Roe Conn’s afternoon show, Anna Davlantes will become host of the 1-3pm slot. Conn remains in afternoons, while Justin Kaufmann’s evening show will be extended to four hours to run from 7-11pm. The WGN Nightside rotating group of hosts in the 10pm-1am slot is eliminated as overnight host Nick Digilio will move from 1-5am to 11pm-4am. A simulcast of WGN-TV’s Morning News will be added in the 4am hour.
Exiting the station with the changes are 10am-12pm hosts Bill Leff and Wendy Snyder. Leff and Snyder have been teamed in middays since 2013 after previously hosting nights together at 97.9 WLUP and mornings at “Q101” WKQX in the 1990s.
