Entercom has announced new market leadership in Austin TX as Bob Mackay joins the cluster as SVP/Market Manager.
Mackay comes to Austin from Entercom Houston where he served as General Sales Manager since August 2016. He has held sales manager positions for Trumper Communications Salt Lake City, Radio One Houston, and Cox Media Houston. Mackay also served as Director of National Sales for Emmis Communications in 2000-2001 and served as President of sales and marketing provider Marsades Media.
Mackay will replace Stephanie Callihan in leading the Entercom Austin operation. Callihan had been with Entercom since May 2015 after previously serving as Market President for iHeartMedia Wichita.
Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., announced that Bob Mackay has been named Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Entercom Austin, effective January 27. In this role, he will have oversight of Majic 95.5 (KKMJ-FM), Mix 94.7 (KAMX-FM), Talk Radio 1370 (KJCE-AM), and The New Hot 95.9 (KKMJ-HD3). Mackay was previously General Sales Manager for Entercom Houston.

Prior to joining Entercom, Mackay was President of Marsades Media which provides audio and digital marketing and sales solutions to clients that included Comcast and Entravision Media. His extensive radio industry career includes stints with Radio One Houston as Director of Sales, Cox Radio as General Sales Manager, Emmis Communications as Vice President and Director of Sales and Clear Channel. He currently serves as a board member of the Houston chapter for the American Advertising Federation and on the advisory board for the Black Chamber of Commerce.
