Forever Media has completed the revamp of its two recently acquired stations in Lebanon PA as AC 100.1 WQIC has flipped to Country “Froggy Valley 100.1” WFVY.
WFVY, which serves the eastern portion of the Harrisburg market, will now compete with iHeartMedia’s “Bob 94.9” WRBT Harrisburg and Cumulus Media’s “I105” WIOV-FM Ephrata, albeit with a much more locally focused product targeting Lebanon and Palmyra. Steve Todd remains in mornings at the station with a new ‘Frogman’ nickname. Todd has been with 100.1 since 1985.
Forever purchased WFVY and 1270 WLBR Lebanon from Robert Etter’s Lebanon Broadcasting Company last August for $1,225,000. 1270 WLBR flipped from Conservative Talk to Classic Hits last month.
