Bonneville AC “Mix 96” KYMX and Hot AC “Now 100.5” KZZO Sacramento are revising their on-air lineups as ‘Vicki Oh’ Ochoa and Christoper ‘Kory’ Beale have departed the cluster.
Vicki Oh departs middays at KZZO after two years following her decision to not to renew her contract and return to her husband and family in Dallas. She joined the station in July 2018 from weekends at Cumulus Media CHR “Hot 93.3” KLIF-FM Haltom City/Dallas.
Kory joined KYMX in June 2015 after stints across the country with time at WOMX Orlando, WHYI Miami, WKCI New Haven, WXKS Boston, KIBT and KKMG Colorado Springs, WKZY Gainesville, WQAL and WDOK Cleveland, and KVIL Dallas. He has been focusing on expanding into audio journalism and storytelling as a contributor to KQED San Francisco’s “Bay Curious” podcast and his No Midnight Media.
KYMX morning host Darik Kristofer will move to afternoons after a year and a half in mornings to fill Kory’s former slot. Kristofer joined KYMX as morning host in January 2019, briefly paired with Amanda Carroll. Prior to coming to Sacramento, Kristofer hosted afternoons at Hot AC “Fresh 94.7” WIAD Washington DC, where he also tracked nights at KZZO. Darik will also take over middays at “Now 100.5“.
Sheryl Stewart, who was APD/MD/afternoon host at Entercom Hot AC “105.1 The Buzz” KRSK Portland until her exit earlier this year, will take over mornings at KYMX. Stewart will also continue to track mornings for Entercom AC “Majic 95.5” KKMJ Austin. She was previously heard in the market as afternoon voicetracker Entercom’s defunct AC “Star 106.5” KUDL.
