Public News/Talk 91.5 KOPB-FM continues to hold a commanding lead in Portland with a 9.1 to 8.8 share drop while iHeartMedia AC “K103” KKCW is second with a 6.7 to 7.1 rise. Making a big trend upward is iHeartMedia Rhythmic CHR “Jam’n 107.5” KXJM with a 4.1 to 5.0 rise.
Beasley Media Country 103.7 WSOC leaps to the Charlotte market lead with a 7.3 to 8.8 gain. iHeartMedia Classic Rock “99.7 The Fox” WRFX moves the other way with an 8.0 to 6.7 fall. Entercom News/Talk 1110 WBT/99.7 WBT-FM holds in third with a 6.0 to 5.9 move. While WSOC was up a share and a half, iHeartMedia Country “96.9 The Kat” WKKT falls 6.4 to 5.4.
It was a poor month for CHR in Charlotte as iHeartMedia’s “Hits 96.1” WHQC falls 4.7 to 3.9 and Beasley’s “Kiss 95.1” WNKS drops 3.5 to 2.8.
Cox Media Group Classic Hits 101.1 KONO-FM San Antonio remains on top of the market despite a three month trend of 8.4 – 6.9 – 5.8. Univision Regional Mexican “Que Buena 92.9” KROM rises 4.7 to 5.5 to tie for second with iHeartMedia News/Talk 1200 WOAI which falls from a 6.5.
Entercom Classic Rock “Eagle 96.9” KSEG retakes the Sacramento lead with an 8.8 to 8.4 drop. Bonneville Country 105.1 KNCI rises to second 7.7 to 8.2. iHeartMedia News/Talk 1530 KFBK/93.1 KFBK-FM falls to third with an 8.9 to 7.9 drop.
Trending upward in Sacramento is Bonneville Hot AC “Now 100.5” KZZO with a 2.9 – 3.5 – 4.1 move. Co-owned AC “Mix 96” KYMX moves the other way with a 5.1 – 4.9 – 3.9 drop as does Entercom CHR “106.5 The End” KUDL with a 3.8 to 2.5 fall. iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 650 KSTE jumps from a 1.8 to 3.0.
iHeartMedia’s combo of Rock 102.5 WDVE (10.9 to 10.5) and Classic Hits “94.5 3WS” WWSW (9.2 to 9.5) continue to dominate Pittsburgh. Steel City Media Variety Hits “96.9 Bob-FM” WRRK falls 7.1 to 6.2 to hold third.
iHeartMedia Classic Hits 94.1 KODJ trends up 5.9 – 6.6 – 7.2 to claim the lead in Salt Lake City. Bonneville Classic Rock “103.5 The Arrow” KRSP moves the other direction 8.1 – 7.7 – 6.6 to move into a second place tie with co-owned AC “FM 100” KSFI. Capitol AC “Now 97.9” KBZN holds in fourth with a 6.2 share.
Beasley Classic Hits 96.3 KKLZ continues to lead Las Vegas with a 7.7 share. iHeartMedia AC “Sunny 106.5″ KSNE is second with a 6.1 to 6.7 gain. Lotus Classic Rock “97.1 The Point” KXPT is well behind with a 4.1 to 4.7 rise.
Lotus Rock 92.3 KOMP dropped 3.2 to 2.5 immediately following some staffing cuts at the station.
Entercom Classic Hits “105.9 Sunny-FM” WOCL Orlando increases its lead back over three share points with a 9.3 to 10.1 rise. iHeartMedia Spanish Tropical “Rumba 100.3” WRUM holds in second with a 6.8, and Cox Media Group Classic Rock 98.9 WMMO is right behind at a 6.7.
The dual-station format switch Cox made in the second week of the monthly led to News/Talk WDBO dropping from a 3.8 to 2.4 on its new 580/107.3 signals while Spanish AC “Exitos 96.5” WOEX debuted at a 0.9 share.
Cumulus Classic Hits 103.5 WGRR Cincinnati pulled away from the rest of the market with a 10.1 to 11.1 gain. iHeartMedia News/Talk 700 WLW was second at a 9.2, while Hubbard Country “B105” WUBE was third with a 7.1.
The three month stretch of setting station record highs is over, but Entercom Classic Rock 98.5 WNCX holds onto its dominance of Cleveland with an 11.0 to 10.8 drop. iHeartMedia’s duo of Classic Hits “Majic 105.7” WMJI (8.2 to 8.5) and Country 99.5 WGAR (8.5 to 8.3) follow.
Cumulus Classic Rock “101 The Fox” KCFX Kansas City regains full share of the lead with an 8.2 to 8.4 gain while co-owned Classic Hits 94.9 KCMO-FM falls 8.2 to 7.3. Steel City Media’s Country 94.1 KFKF is up 6.3 to 7.1. The biggest trend up goes to Steel City CHR “Mix 93.3” KMXV (3.4 – 4.2 – 5.9) to move into a three way tie for fourth with Carter Hip Hop “Hot 103 Jamz” KPRS-FM and Entercom Country “106.5 The Wolf” WDAF-FM.
Also trending upwards in Kansas City is Northwestern Media Christian AC “Life 88.5” KJNW with a 2.4 – 3.4 – 4.2 gain, while Entercom News/Talk 98.1 KMBZ-FM falls 6.8 – 5.5 – 4.3.
