iHeartMedia has appointed Tias Schuster as SVP/Programming for their Rochester, Syracuse and Binghamton NY stations
Schuster returns to the company after serving in the same role at their Norfolk VA cluster until being let go as part of the massive cuts in January. He previously programmed Hot AC “100.5 The Drive” WDVI and CHR “Kiss 106.7” WKGS Rochester in 2015/2016 prior to moving Norfolk. He also spent fourteen years at Entercom with two stints in Greenville SC the second as Operations Manager and programed CHR “Z104” WNVZ Norfolk and WKRZ Scranton.
iHeartMedia announced today that Tias Schuster has been named Senior Vice President of Programming for Rochester, Syracuse and Binghamton, effective immediately. iHeartMedia has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than 19 stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Senior Vice President of Programming, Schuster will oversee more than 19 stations across the Rochester, Syracuse and Binghamton markets and work closely with the market’s program directors, on-air personalities, digital and sales teams. He will report to Robert Morgan, President for iHeartMedia West New York.

Tias most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Norfolk. Throughout his career, he also served a program director for Mix 100.5 (WDVI) and KISS 106.7 (WKGS) for iHeartMedia Rochester in 2015-2016 and an operations manager and program director for Entercom in Greenville, South Carolina.
