TEGNA Sports “97.1 The Fan” WBNS-FM Columbus OH is launching a new local morning show on Monday, August 17.
Coinciding with the launch of ESPN Radio’s new schedule, WBNS-FM is expanding their local output to a minimum of fourteen hours on weekdays. The new “Morning Juice” will feature current evening “Buckeye Show” co-host Brandon “Beamer” Beam, current 12-3pm co-host Bobby Carpenter and former Ohio State University player and coach Anthony Schlegel. The program will air from 6-9am weekdays.
Beau Bishop and James Laurinaitis will remain in the 9am-12pm slot as does Mike ‘Common Man’Ricordati and Jonathan ‘T-Bone’ Smith in afternoons from 3-6pm. Weekend host Matty ‘Ice’ Hayes will replace Carpenter alongside Anthony Rothman from 12-3pm.
WBNS-FM also announced that the station will be moving into the WBNS-TV studios to allow for more integration with the sports programming between the two stations.
Columbus, OH – 97/1 The Fan announced today that former Buckeye linebackers Bobby Carpenter and Anthony Schlegel join The Fan’s Brandon Beam to host, “Morning Juice” from 6-9 AM.

Get ready Cbus! Columbus morning radio will never be the same!”
“Rothman and Ice” will air from 12-3 PM on weekdays.

1460AM/ESPN Columbus and 97.1 HD2 will air the entire new ESPN Radio national daily lineup.
