Beasley Media Country 92.5 WXTU Philadelphia has promoted Charlie Maxx from evening host to Assistant Program Director and Production Director.
Maxx will also now host from 12-3pm following the addition of the syndicated Backstage Country to all of Beasley’s Country stations starting today. Maxx joined WXTU in February 2018 as a weekend host and moved to nights in September 2019. She previously programmed Beasley AC “Mix 99.5” WJBR-FM Wilmington DE from 2012-2017 and has worked at 95.7 WMWX, 96.5 WPTP, 101.1 WBEB, and 104.5 WLCE in the Philadelphia market.
Maxx fills the Production Director duties and part of the midday shift that had been held by Brian McKay until his exit in June. Program Director Mark Razz will host 10am-12pm.
Beasley Media Group announces the following promotions at 92.5 WXTU-FM in Philadelphia:
Charlie Maxx has been promoted to the position of Production Director and Assistant Program Director at the station. In addition, she will be on the air from noon – 3pm.
“Charlie has a depth of experience that will be so helpful in her expanded role her at 92.5XTU,” said Station Program Director Mark Razz. “I look forward to putting our heads together to move the station forward.”
Razz can now be heard from 10am – Noon and “Backstage Country”, a 5-hour daily, weekday program, will air from 7pm – 12 Midnight Mondays – Fridays.
In addition, Jennifer “JJ” Scordo has been promoted to working in production and doing weekend on air work at the station.
