Binnie Media has announced that Jack Heath will join their New Hampshire News/Talk stations for a new 9am-12pm show.
Heath, who exited his “New Hampshire Today” morning show at 610 WGIR Manchester and 96.7 WQSO Rochester last week, will join Binnie’s News/Talk “107.7 The Pulse” Hillsboro, 1270 WTSN/98.1 W251CH Dover, and 1490 WEMJ/107.3 W297BS Laconia. WEMJ/W297BS is currently simulcasting CHR 105.5 WJYY Concord. Prior to joining WGIR in 2013, Heath served as VP/News Director at WMUR-TV Manchester. His WGIR show was at one time syndicated to WTPL.
Concurrent with the addition of Heath, Binnie parted with three other talents. Exiting WTPL are current morning co-host Peter St. James and late morning host Ken Cail. St. James had hosted mornings at WTPL since 2004 while Cail has hosted in multiple timeslots during his long tenure at the station including afternoons and co-hosting mornings. Departing WJYY is morning co-host Tara Madison, where Nazzy will remain solo.
Jack Heath, broadcaster and host of NH Today has joined Binnie Media.
Heath has long been a staple in New England media with a career as the Vice President and News Director at WMUR-TV as well as reporter positions in Maine and Massachusetts.
“We are thrilled to have a talent like Jack join Binnie Media, he brings a breadth of experience and professionalism in journalism along with a connection to politics that will be of interest to our listeners,” says Bill Binnie.
Binnie Media has 18 radio signals in northern New England with various formats and reaches over 1 million listeners monthly. Heath has been reporting on the interests of NH listeners for over 7 years and has done great things for veterans through various fund-raising efforts.
“Jack’s show will stay consistent with the content from his former show, while adding some new features, additional geography and more FM coverage,” says Massimo Rosati, President of Binnie Media.
“Jack will be joining our other great on air talent for a truly star studded cast of broadcasters on our news talk sports stations.”
Heath will be airing his show from 9am to Noon, weekdays on 107.7 WTPL, 107.3 FM and 1490 AM WEMJ, and 98.1 FM and 1270 AM WTSN reaching more listeners in NH over the air than ever before.
