Update 8/19: WKFY debuted its permanent format as “Koffee 98.7” this morning. The station depicts its format as a mix of “oldies, classic album cuts, and modern artists loved by older listeners”. Five of the towns served by the WKFY signal on Cape Cod among the oldest skewing in the northeast.

98.7 WKFY East Harwich has signed-on with a loop of Patti Page’s “Old Cape Cod”. In between plays of the song, the station is promoting that it will launch its new format on Monday, August 19 as “Koffee 98.7“. The station is promoting its new format as something “not found on any radio dial or stream”.
WKFY will operate with 3.2kW at 47.3 meters from Great Hill in Chatham, MA.
