Another Cumulus station is making the move to the Country “Nash Icon” brand today.
News/Talk 101.5 WVLK-FM Richmond/Lexington, KY has dropped its format and has begun stunting with non-stop Garth Brooks as it prepares to become “101.5 Nash Icon“.
It's our 1st day on the radio & #GarthBrooks in #LexKY tonight…how about we call ourselves #GARTH1015 & play Garth ALL DAY #done 👌👍👏✔

WVLK-FM will become a flanker to sister “92.9 Nash-FM” WLXX against iHeartMedia’s market leading “98.1 The Bull” WBUL and Clarity Communications’ Classic Country “96.1 Hank-FM” WLXO. The previous format mostly simulcasted sister 590 WVLK Lexington with the exception of a two hour program hosted by former Kentucky basketball coach Joe B. Hall and University of Louisville coach Denny Crum that was cancelled Thursday in preparation of the flip.
