WJZW Washington Becomes True Oldies 105.9

At 3pm, Citadel Smooth Jazz 105.9 WJZW dropped the format for Oldies as “True Oldies 105.9“. The first three songs were Aretha Franklin “Respect”, Doobie Brothers “Listen To The Music”, and Manfred Mann “Do Wah Diddy”.

DCRTV expects current WJZW PD Steve Allan to stay on-board as PD for the new format, however the rest of the current airstaff is out. Allan was formerly PD of Clear Channel’s Oldies 100.3 WBIG and AC 97.1 WASH.
