Frequency Shift & New Format Coming to Little Rock

Over the past few weeks we’ve monitored Clear Channel prepare frequency shifts in many markets that will see stations spun-off. Now we add Little Rock to that list as The Arkansas Business Journal reports on Clear Channel’s plans to move the Classic Country format of “The Wolf” 106.7 KHKN to 105.1 KMJX, current Classic Rock “Magic 105.1“. 106.7, which is on the spinoff list, will become Variety Hits as “106.7 Tom-FM”, named after Tom Wood, a 27 year veteran of the market who will move from 105.1 to the new station.

105.1 has begun stunting with all Beatles in preparation of the flip to occur on March 3.
