After a second attempt at bringing a 107.7 signal into the Omaha market failed due to conflicts with the FAA, Kona Coast Radio is selling Silent 107.7 KIMI Malvern IA to Educational Media Foundation for $100,000. EMF will utilize KIMI to bring their “Air-1” network into the Omaha market as a satellite of 92.7 KYRA Thousand Oaks CA.
Stephens Media sells Silent 1490 KBIX Muskogee OK and 102.9 K275CK Clinton MO (with a CP to relocate to Muskogee) to Grupo Teletul Multimedia for $175,000.
University of Utah purchases Silent 93.9 KYLZ Parowan UT from Tri State Radio for $450,000. KYLZ holds a CP to relocate to Enoch where it will cover the St. George/Cedar City market with 100kw/341m.
Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa sells Silent 89.9 KWDS Kettleman City CA to Intermountain Public Radio for $50,000. The buyer will operate the station as a satellite of 91.9 KTYN Thayne WY.
